The cube isn't a pass-through directly to your source data. To update the data in the cube, you must process the cube; you can do this through a regularly scheduled job with SQL Agent or, of course, manually. In this case, the wizard took care of a lot of the details for you, but you'll read more about what the cube really is in a few minutes. System repair. AdventureWorksDW2012 sample database is required as a data source for the Adventure Works Multidimensional Model. Adventure Works Multidimensional Model for SQL Server 2012 deployed to the Analysis Services instance. You should already know: You should be familiar with how to create reports and design views in Power View.
This release contains the full database files, scripts, and projects for AdventureWorks2012. They are for use with SQL Server 2012 and later versions. These samples are migrated from Codeplex.
